Customer Experience Manager
Based in Tokyo, Japan
As an Customer Experience Manager, you'll be part of the Account Management (Customer Experience) team and your role will be to manage their direct sold and programmatic campaigns, supporting clients adoption, maintaining daily relationships with agencies, trading desks, DSPs, and advertisers. From strategic consulting for a proposal to billing reconciliation, you will be responsible for the following.
For Programmatic Campaigns
Main responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Programmatic campaign process from start to end
- Direct client relationship management (Agencies, clients or Trading Desks) throughout campaign lifecycle
- Create, develop and grow the day-to-day relationships with our clients and key decision makers
- Understand clients' objectives and KPIs and optimize towards these for optimum campaign performance
- Create Deal Id's and monitor delivery, spend and performance
- Troubleshooting issues affecting delivery and performance
- Reporting performance to internal teams and clients, daily, weekly and in group/pod meetings
- Identifying upselling opportunities across programmatic activity
- Knowledge of DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, and 3rd party ad-serving systems
- Develop in-depth knowledge of digital media industry and market dynamics
For Managed Service Campaigns
Manage the end-to-end campaign process from start to end
- Direct client relationship management throughout campaign lifecycle
- Providing recommendations for revenue optimization - identifying opportunities to increase client incremental share of campaign and renewal.
- Chasing for assets
- Set up campaigns and creatives on the their ad serving platform
- Understand clients' objectives and KPIs and optimize towards these for optimum campaign performance
- Regular reporting of campaign performance data to internal and external teams, producing mid and end of campaign reports. Includes writing campaign commentary and analysis, producing screenshots and ability to highlight campaign success metrics for our clients.
- Test and implement 3rd party tracking, VAST/VPAID, Javascript, and brand studies
Required
- Conversational Japanese language, Business English
- Over 2 years of experience in campaign operation, digital media agency, DSP or SSP.
- AdOperation skills (both Branding and Performance/ video and display), ideally DSP knowledge.
- Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced media environment managing multiple competing priorities
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Microsoft Office skills
Preferred
- Experience with one of those DSP: DV360, TTD, Supership, Appnexus, Mediamath, Oath, Adobe
- Good Understanding of ad serving technologies
- Demonstrable experience of managing the end-to-end campaign process for top tier advertisers
- Experience in World class client relationship management skills with direct client or agency experience
- Mobile, Video, Display, Programmatic, and performance campaign experience
- Competent with 3rd party tags, HTML and Javascript
