Conference Operations Manager.

Our client is internationally recognised and has managed events in 38 countries. They are looking for an Conference Manager to join their team.

As the Conference Manager, you will manage the logistics of conferences and be responsible for all operations function. You will also work in close collaboration with other project team members to plan, coordinate, and run the live event.

Role: Conference Manager

Location: Singapore

Salary: S$5,000 - S$6,000

As the Conference Manager, you will:

• Collaborate with other functional departments, develops meeting space allocation plan, and validates with client needs
• Conduct site inspections and evaluate its suitability
• Analyse proposals and estimates, and negotiate on clients' behalf
• Source and manage vendors and suppliers, ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner
• Liaise with general service contractors for show management build
• Organise and oversee event logistics
• Proactively troubleshoot problems on event days
• Conduct regular reviews of processes and make recommendations at regular internal department meetings

As the Conference Manager, you have/are:

• Experience in conferences, events and/or logistics
• Experience in managing external vendors, sourcing and negotiating contract services
• Experience in budget management
• Customer service, leadership and organisational skills
