Our client's Singapore business runs around 15 large scale events a year, across Asia, and now about a further 15 virtual events. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join them
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Salary: S$5,000 - S$5,800
Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for selling sponsorship and
exhibition packages on the events.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching and prospecting for new clients, as well as rebooking existing clients
- Setting up online meetings, calls and face-to-face meetings to better understand the challenges the prospects are facing and how our events will make a
- difference to them
- Client account management, building a lasting relationship with them and making sure that you're helping them achieve their objectives
Key Requirements
- "Can-do" attitude
- Commercially-minded and understand buy-sell dynamics in a given market
- Confident in sales meetings with senior staff from your prospect companies
- Able to listen to clients, understand their needs and match them to our offerings
- An excellent written and verbal communicator
- Able to work independently and show initiative
- Organised and methodical
- Focused on delivering outstanding results for your clients
- minimum of 1 year's sales experience (this need not necessarily be in events)
