Backend Senior Software Engineer.

Our client is a San Francisco based company with a regional office in Singapore that aims to increase privacy and data security for all Internet users through the development of communication apps.

The company is now looking for a Backend Senior Software Engineer to join them in building the best systems and solving infrastructure challenges.

The Role:

• Implementing backend services needed for the company's privacy platforms
• Brainstorming and creating new solutions
• Reviewing code and design to meet high development standards
• Collaborating with frontend team and other developers to come up with ways to improve internal platforms and shared components
• Designing different system architecture in quick iteration cycles

Your Experience:

• At least 3 years of backend software development experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields
• Experienced with TypeScript or NodeJS, MySQL and AWS
• Experience working with VPN and privacy tools is a bonus

Your Profile:

• Able to work in a team and perform under pressure
• Good balance of theoretical knowledge and programming expertise
• Not afraid of a challenge and passionate about coding and problem-solving
