Art Director
Based in Singapore
We are seeking a visionary and Art Director for our Singapore office. This role involves leading the creative direction and execution of various projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the Southeast Asia region. The Art Director will collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and cross-functional teams across our Singapore and Malaysia offices. Exceptional leadership and innovative thinking will be essential to inspire the creative team and deliver outstanding visual communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Excellence and Collaboration:
- Partner with copywriters to develop cohesive and compelling campaigns that fulfill client objectives.
- Oversee the entire creative process from concept to completion, ensuring strong concepts that meet the brief for integrated campaigns or platform-specific work.
- Develop storyboards, UI designs, infographics, gif animations, social media content, experiential ideas, and more.
- Explore new ways to incorporate emerging media formats into campaigns for global automotive and sports-related clients, as well as new business pitches.
Visual Direction:
- Establish and maintain the visual tone, style, and aesthetics for all projects, ensuring consistency across various channels and platforms.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
Team Development:
- Mentor and inspire the creative team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Client Interaction:
- Present creative concepts to clients and incorporate feedback to refine and enhance final deliverables.
Cross-Office Collaboration:
- Engage in regular communication and collaboration with offices in Singapore and Malaysia to leverage regional insights and resources.
Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep creative output fresh and innovative.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in art direction or a similar role within an advertising agency or a creative department.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects that demonstrate expertise in visual storytelling and art direction.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, video editing software, and other relevant design tools.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a creative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present ideas effectively.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Work s: This hybrid role requires both virtual and physical engagements, necessitating the ability to collaborate with remote teams and participate in in-person meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Key Collaborations:
- Internal Teams: Collaborate closely with the creative, strategy, and account teams in both Singapore and Malaysia.
- Clients: Maintain direct communication with clients to understand their needs and present concepts effectively.
