Temp for Christmas - or for life!.

​A temp opportunity could help you to secure a full-time job fast! Temp jobs are always a great way to get your foot in the door at your dream company.

As an interim recruiter, I wish more people were aware of the benefits of a temp opportunity. While the below article is a brilliant read and seasonally specific, the statement that temp jobs are a great way to get one's foot in the door is completely true! I have candidates who have taken the jump into an immediate start 'stop-gap' that turned into their forever career and I'm sure they would tell you it was worth it. 

During the December months, you may find that your friendly neighbourhood recruiter is a little bit quiet with perm' opportunities (maybe) but I can guarantee if you were to open yourself up to temporary roles, you'd be hearing a whole lot more from them. A temp job doesn't have to be 'just for Christmas' - but it could be!
