Salary: S$14,000 - S$15,000 + OTE
Reporting to: Leader of Asia
Direct Reports: Sales & Customer Success / SDR

Role Overview
The VP of Sales Asia role is a unique opportunity to be part of the launch of the 3rd edition of this global success story. Ideally, you will need to be well connected in the FinTech and Financial services and be ready to create the new edition of the Event.
Note: if you come from another market sector, it would be great to understand your agility and prior experience in learning and conquering a complex new market area at speed.
This role requires an experienced inspirational sales leader who can lead a new team to deliver an exceptional launch product and take it forward to sustainable high growth.
You must be able to demonstrate high level of sales and sales management experience especially in working with world class global brands and over delivering on financial goals.
You need to be a first class sales leader in sales excellence.
You need to be experienced at working in a stakeholder global business and also able to work independently and entrepreneurially.
Key Accountabilites
- Authoring the sales strategy with the leader of ASIA and the global sales leader for the full go to market sales strategy for the Asia launch to exceed the launch goals
- Recruiting the launch sales team and getting them operational and optimal at speed.
- Getting to know key customers personally and developing strong relationships at pace
- Delivering the launch financials for launch and authoring the growth beyond launch
- Coach, mentor, develop, motivate and lead your team with clear direction and focus on their roles and responsibilities
- Partner with marketing to co-create and author the marketing plan for launch and beyond for sponsorship acquisition
- Be an active member of the Event Sales Leadership team globally, driving excellence in the brand
- An advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion

Skills, experience & qualifications required
- Experienced Commercial Leader with clear experience of running high growth businesses
- Ideally strong network into the Key Sponsors of Money 20/20 (large FS organisations)
- Commercially astute with experience in delivering and overseeing 6 figure + sponsorship deals
- Highly skilled sales leader with strong leadership and motivational capabilities
- Proven in sales excellence including CRM (preferably Salesforce) lead generation and sales team skill development
- Experienced in creating sales budgets and targets
- Clear and confident in decision making
- Open and honest - able and confident in giving constructive feedback
- Excellent experience in client management building relationships and problem solving
- Flexible and resilient - willing to work against the norms of events to deliver something exceptional
