The opportunity

As an SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for winning and growing business across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and the wider South Florida market.

This is a new-business-focused position for a genuine sales hunter. You will not inherit a large, established book of business, so you must be comfortable building your own pipeline, approaching prospective clients and developing relationships from the ground up.

The territory offers significant potential, including access to multimillion-dollar local and regional advertisers. You will sell directly to brands and businesses while managing accounts throughout the complete sales lifecycle.

What you'll do

New business development

• Identify, prospect and secure new clients across South Florida.
• Build a strong pipeline through outbound activity, networking, referrals and local market knowledge.
• Sell directly to brands, businesses and senior marketing decision-makers.
• Respond to inbound opportunities while proactively targeting high-value local and regional accounts.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach through negotiation and close.
• Work towards building and managing a portfolio worth $1 million or more.

Campaign development

• Understand each client's commercial objectives and recommend relevant media solutions.
• Create and deliver tailored proposals for advertising campaigns, events and brand activations.
• Develop creative prospecting strategies, including targeted email campaigns and automated sequences.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell campaigns across multiple US markets.

Account growth

• Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and portfolio growth.
• Partner closely with Client Success and campaign delivery teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Provide ongoing support and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.
• Share client and market feedback to improve future campaigns and commercial strategies.

Networking and reporting

• Represent the company at industry, sporting, business and community events.
• Develop a strong network across the South Florida advertising and business community.
• Use HubSpot to manage prospecting activity, opportunities and pipeline progression.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear sales forecasts and performance updates.

What we're looking for

• At least three years of successful B2B media sales experience; five or more years would be advantageous.
• A proven record of winning new business and exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience selling directly to clients is essential.
• Vendor-side media sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience across out-of-home advertising, sports media, radio, television or another relevant media channel.
• Strong knowledge of the South Florida market and its business community.
• The confidence to develop and manage significant local and regional accounts.
• A proactive hunter mentality and the motivation to build a portfolio rather than inherit one.
• Experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• A collaborative and commercially driven approach suited to a fast-paced environment.

Location and working arrangements

Miami is the preferred location, followed by Fort Lauderdale and Tampa. Miami-based employees will work on a hybrid basis, with regular office attendance expected on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
