Senior Event Manager.

Our client is a global non-profit organisation with more than 120,000 members across 134 countries. They are looking for a Senior Event Manager to join their APAC team and take the lead on event planning and project management within the Oil & Gas industry.

As a Senior Event Manager, you will also be responsible for budget management as well as supporting and contributing to strategic direction and implementation of the APAC event portfolio.

Role: Senior Event Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Salary: RM$12,000 - RM$16,500 monthly

As a Senior Event Manager, you will:

• Collaborate with various team to deliver high-quality events
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders and committees
• Produce value-added and content-rich programmes
• Event operations and logistics management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketing efforts and sales KPI
• Plan and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial management and expense control
• Manage and training of team to ensure project objectives and met with timely delivery
• Support in strategic business development

As a Senior Event Manager, you will need:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in project, sponsorship, and operation management for exhibitions and/or large scale events
• Experience in people and performance management
• Experience in end-to-end production of virtual/hybrid events is highly advantageous
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous when liaising with Chinese stakeholders
