The client are classically known for being a publishing company who over the last 5 years have transitioned into a fully-fledged B2B Fintech business. They rely on coverage of investors and their actions which has become the focal point of the firms editorial and research efforts, which is therefore key to providing valuable business intelligence tools for the global fund management industry.

They are now looking to hire an experienced Marketing Manager to join one of their fasting- growing brands within the business. The brand itself is the definitive Independent Research Platform for the investment management industry.

You will be responsible owning and running marketing campaigns using the latest marketing automation and CRM technology as well as social media and digital/online marketing channels to generate leads for new and existing business, ultimately to drive user engagement.

This is a full time permanent position, offering up to £42k basis salary plus flexible working and exciting benefits package that includes bonus, regular incentives, 24 annual leave allowance and exciting Christmas parties to a European destination.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing lead generation strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and new wins across new and existing business.
  • Line management of Senior Marketing Executive - supporting and overseeing the AMB strategy and campaign execution.
  • Developing and co-ordinating marketing activity across multiple channels including email, website, print, events and social media to drive lead generation, improve customer insight and sales conversion.
  • Create compelling, needs-based campaigns that clearly articulate the value of the brand.
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent campaign messages across all contact points.
  • Use market intelligence and customer insight and analysis to increase understanding of our audiences and effectiveness of our campaigns.

The Person

  • Ideally previous B2B subscriptions marketing experience in a role with a focus on lead generation and ABM.
  • Previous experience of close collaboration with a sales team
  • Knowledge and experience of digital marketing with a focus on email marketing and social media
  • An understanding of how marketing is used to drive leads and how that's measured
  • Strong understanding of reporting on campaign effectiveness and customer engagement - experience of using Google Analytics would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CRM and marketing automation knowledge and experience (previous experience with Salesforce and Pardot would be an advantage)
