The Person

The ideal candidate is driven, persuasive, with considerable knowledge and experience in the FMCG or eCommerce space.

You will possess a strong sales background with proven success in sales, and account management.

You have the vision and capability to lead customer strategy. You will motivate and inspire your team to achieve success.

You will set the pace and work with the wider-team to develop go to strategies, deliver quality pitches, and ensure a client-centric approach to maximise conversions, growth, retention and client satisfaction.

The Experience and Skills required

1. Excellent telephone, writing and listening skills

English - fluent in both writing and speaking

Chinese - proficient in speaking and reading simplified business Chinese as you will be required to liaise with clients in the China market

2. 8 - 10 years of experience in the FMCG or eCommerce space with understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends

3. Sophisticated customer service, effective negotiation skills and a strong sales background

4. Effective and strong leadership skills to mentor and inspire your team

5. Interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams

6. Desire to own and exceed expectations, find creative solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, technology driven culture

7. Strategy development, planning and implementation skills, along with the ability to use data-driven insights to drive sales and business growth

8. Financial management skills - sound understanding of cost, budget and P&L ownership
