Business Analyst (6 months FTC).

We are partnering with a premier Events and Technology MNC in Singapore to secure a strategic Business Analyst for a high-impact 6-month Fixed Term Contract.

This is not a traditional "requirements gathering" role. You will be embedded directly into a critical data transformation project, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your mission is to align disparate business units on how they input, manage, and utilise data on the internal platform.

What You'll Own

Over the next 6 months, you will drive the end-to-end life-cycle of a key data alignment project:

• Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary connector between business leaders, technical developers, and external vendors to negotiate priorities and resolve conflicting requirements.
• Process Architecture: Map current workflows ("As-Is") and design optimised future-state processes ("To-Be") using BPMN to eliminate inefficiencies and standardise operations.
• Data Governance & Logic: Define the business rules and data entry standards required for accurate downstream reporting. You will ensure the data entering the system is clean and logical.
• Documentation Excellence: Produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Stories, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that serve as the single source of truth for the project.
• Validation & Handover: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage defect resolution, and create comprehensive "Handover Playbooks" to ensure a seamless transition to the permanent operations team upon project completion.

Who You Are

We are looking for a seasoned professional with 5-8 years of experience in data and business analysis who can get stuck in straight away:

• Data Fluent: You don't just read dashboards; you interpret the story behind the numbers to identify operational risks and opportunities.
• Process Expert: You are proficient in workflow mapping and can visualise complex "As-Is" vs. "To-Be" scenarios with ease.
• Translator: You possess the rare ability to explain complex technical constraints to non-technical executives and translate vague business needs into precise functional specs for developers.
• Governance Mindset: You understand that clean data entry is the foundation of good reporting and are passionate about establishing robust SOPs.
• Stakeholder Manager: You have the confidence to influence vendor performance and manage executive expectations with professionalism.

Essential Requirements

• Contract Duration: 6 Months (Fixed Term)
• Location: Fully Office-Based in Singapore.
• Citizenship: Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).
• Experience: 5+ years in Business Analysis, preferably within Tech, Events, or Data-heavy industries.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in BPMN, BRD/User Story creation, UAT leadership, and Data Governance principles.
